      Today: Any ice will melt through the morning however scattered showers will continue, beginning in western areas, spreading to southern and central parts later. In between showers, there will be sunny spells, and it is also expected to stay dry in many E areas, and the bulk of Scotland away from the far north.

      Tonight: Showers will continue predominantly in northwest Scotland and southeast England. In between these areas, mostly clear skies are expected, with a frost likely in much of Scotland and northern England.
