      Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday: A dry night with clear spells for many, some showers continuing across exposed northern and eastern coasts. It will be a chilly night for most with a cool northerly wind, winds becoming strong in the northeast and Scotland.

      Wednesday Daytime: A dry and bright morning in the south with scattered showers and sunny spells through the morning, with the showers in Scotland and along eastern coasts becoming more widespread through the afternoon. The best of the sunshine and generally dry weather will be in the southwest of England.
