General Overview
Ibiza is the third largest Island in the Balearics, an archipelago in the western Mediterranean Sea, forming a province of Spain. The other main Islands include, Majorca and Minorca. Ibiza has, what is considered, a Mediterranean climate, hot and dry summers, and mild winters when nearly all the rainfall for the year occurs. With virtually frost free winters and dry but not too hot summers the Island provide visitors with a great, consistent climate through the year. The months of May through to October are regarded as best for sunbathing and taking a swim in the sea. November through to April is a little cool for sunbathing but ideal for outdoor activities such as golf.
