Brrrr! Glorious winter sunshine right across the Alps on Sunday but the temperatures remain unmoved. In many premier alpine locations the resort temperature when lifts opened in the morning were in the range of minus 15 to minus 20 degrees Celsius! and they were not expected to rise significantly through the day. These are serious temperatures and skiers must be well equipped to maximise enjoyment of the wonderful snow and the sport on offer. Ski boot warming systems are recommended. The snow condition and quantity in all the resorts now is really excellent and the forecast, although very cold, promises more sunshine.
