Most lower slopes lack snow cover and so skiing is being offering on pistes above mid-station elevation where snow conditions are good enough to open most pistes. Skiers should expect more sunshine than snowfall in the Alps for the holiday period and temperatures look set to remain relatively mild for the time of year.
